Totally Teeth will remain open to help you in any Dental Emergenices / Toothache / Broken Teeth.
Based on growing concern with COVID-19 community transmission in Melbourne metropolitan region, The Australian Dental Association Victoria Branch (ADAVB) and the Victorian Government has recommended that dental practices implement Level 3 protocol for dental procedures. In the interests of patient and staff safety, we will be implementing this protocol at our dental practice for the coming weeks until the restrictions are eased.
What Does this mean for you?
Level 3 restrictions means we can offer limited dental services to our patients. We will still be open to help our patients with any Dental Pain/Broken Teeth/Dental Trauma. However, we will not be able to provide any routine dental care such as Dental Check-up and clean, small fillings or other cosmetic procedures that can wait for few weeks.
Will my appointment be cancelled?
We will be contacting you to update you regarding your existing appointments with us and confirming if we are still able to provide services that you are booked in for during the coming weeks.
What to expect when you attend the appointment?
If you fall under one of the categories where we can still provide the dental care, we would like to advise you about few things.
- We have closed our waiting room in the interest of our patient’s safety and we would advise you to contact us when you arrive for your dental appointment. We will request you to wait in the car park until we are ready for your appointment.
- We only allow patients to enter the clinic and no accompanying persons are allowed (unless you are a guardian of under 18 years of age or you are presenting to help with translation)
- We would ask you to sanitize your hands upon arrival and we will be taking your temperature before taking you to the dental surgery.
- You will be asked to use pre-procedural mouthwash before any procedures.
Restricted hours during stage 4 Lockdown
We will be also reducing hours of operation during the stage 4 lockdown to minimize movement for our staff and patients. We will be closed on Saturdays and open till 5.30 pm on Tuesdays (instead of usual 7 pm) during this lockdown.
