Dentistry has come a long way, and there is no reason children should be scared to come in for dental visits. During their visit, we assess jaw development, bite development and any cavities in your child’s teeth.
Early prevention will help maintain your child’s teeth throughout their lives. We do preventive dental treatments such as Fissure Sealants for back molars or teeth with deep grooves to reduce the chances of getting cavities on your child’s teeth.
The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) is a Medicare-funded program that commenced on the 1st of January 2014 and provides access to benefits for basic dental services to around 3.4 million children aged 2-17 years. Totally Teeth is a Bulk Billing clinic for Medicare’s CDBS scheme.
The total benefit entitlement is capped at $1,052 per child over a two calendar year period.
The CDBS has a means test, which requires receipt of Family Tax Benefit Part A (FTB-A) or a relevant Australian Government payment. Please visit the Department of Health website for more information on the CDBS.
